Indian Air Force (IAF) has declared the result of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT-2) 2024. Candidates who had participated in this examination can now check their result by visiting the official website afcat.cdac.in and download the scorecard. AFCAT-2 exam was conducted by the Indian Air Force on 9, 10 and 11 August 2024. In this examination, candidates will be selected for the posts of Gazetted Officer in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) and Flying branches.

Admit cards for AFCAT-2 exam were released on 24 July 2024. The examination was conducted in two shifts: first shift from 10 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. Lakhs of candidates participated in this examination, and now they were eagerly waiting for their result, which has now been released.

Selection process for interview

After the release of the result of AFCAT-2 2024 exam, those candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the next stage i.e. Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview. Final selection will be made only after AFSB interview. This process is applicable for ground duty (non-technical and technical) and flying branches. During the interview, the mental and physical abilities of the candidates are tested to decide whether they are eligible to become Air Force officers or not.

How to check result?

  1. First of all go to the official website of AFCAT afcat.cdac.in.
  2. On the homepage you will get the option of “Login”. Click on it.
  3. Now you have to enter your registered email ID and password, which you used while applying for AFCAT exam.
  4. After login, your result will appear on the screen. From here you can download your AFCAT 2 scorecard.
  5. Finally, print a copy of your result so that you can present it if needed in future.

future preparations

After the release of the result, the candidates who have been successful in the written examination should start preparing for the AFSB interview. During the interview, the physical fitness, mental ability and leadership skills of the candidates are tested. Furthermore, candidates should keep their documents properly prepared as document verification will also be conducted during the interview.
